Had a stab today at creating a first version of a model to show my thinking about learning for social change - its an over simplifciation of course, but its trying to get to grips with how going through a learning journey can create some potential for change at the individual learner.
Motivation:
i also mean drivers and the journey has to start with some not none.
Information:
content, socially derived, collaboration
Steps:
drivers within the course act on motivation as information exchanges take place and learning is enabled
Ball:
for social change - change enabling behaviour happens when it's easy
feel free to pick apart, ask me to justify - i need to refine this :)

the motivation can come from individuals but needs to have community resonance. Perhaps a looking at what is and what was and what could be, then critiquing the implications of this- very much a collaborative process. So motivation kicks starts Information but in turn strengthens motivation as it becomes informed.
Steps need a goal first, an attainable goal- a what do we want to achieve, create etc then how do we do that and who does what and when.
The Ball should start rolling when the Participants have done the work needed
